My interest in the construction industry was sparked by my father “Jack”, who is a “jack of all trades”. My father, the best man I have ever known, inspired me to be more than I think I am in all that I do.
With my parents full support, my formal trades education began in junior high school, carried on through high school and eventually, I attended Ferris State College where I earned my A.A.S. in Building Construction Technology and later my B.S. in Construction Management.
My experience consists of hands-on, administrative and educational services. I have held many jobs in the construction industry, including that of Chief Estimator, Superintendent, Foreman and Residential Builder and enjoyed them all.
In addition to work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our “pupper” Ellie Mae. My wife, Margaret Mary and I enjoy walks in our neighborhood, hiking, camping; we love anything outdoors. We have three grown children, Megan Marie, Noah John and Kayla Elizabeth, whom we are immensely proud of.
